Greetings from Ambassador Tatsuo Hirayama
2019/9/25
Ambassador of Japan to Antigua and Barbuda
His Excellency Tatsuo Hirayama
Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Japan for Antigua and Barbuda!
My name is Tatsuo Hirayama, and I have assumed the post of the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in January 2019 and presented credentials to H.E. Sir Rodney Williams GCMG, KGN, KStJ, MBBS, PhD (h.c.), Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda on September 2, 2019.
It is a great joy to remember that I first visited Antigua and Barbuda in 2015 and I also remember that this beautiful country has 365 beaches.
Japan and Antigua and Barbuda have maintained excellent relations over the long time based on shared fundamental values such as democracy, rule of law and sustainable use of marine resources. Japan has extended a variety of development assistance to Antigua and Barbuda in the areas including disaster prevention and risk management, climate change and fisheries.
Our Embassy is also committed to doing our utmost to further enhance our superb relations in many areas. I humbly ask for your kind support and cooperation to do so.
Best wishes,
Tatsuo Hirayama
